1001 Albums Summary

Probably a 3.75/5 this one. I have listened to it plenty, but never straight through in one shot like today. Some iconic Muse tracks (Starlight, Assassin, and of course Knights of Cydonia). However I feel the rest of the album is a bit samey for me. I found that the lead single, Supermassive Blackhole, sticks out like a sore thumb on an album that otherwise flows nicely across its theme.

Brilliant album. First time listening to it in its entirety. Really coherent in terms of sound and lyrics. A real easy listening album, I can see why it's a classic. Standout for me : Wild World, Sad Lisa, Miles from Nowhere, Father and Son. This will go into my regular rotation

Like a 40 minute long panic attack put to music! But it was intriguing I have to say. Interesting listen if nothing else.
