1001 Albums Summary

I have never listened to this album prior, but I was familiar with California Dreamin’, of course. My favorite song on the album is Monday, Monday and my least favorite would be Got A Feelin’. I would listen to some of the songs again. I love the album cover.

Prior to listening to this album I had never heard of Sarah Vaugn, but wow is her voice beautiful. This isn’t a typical album I would pick up and listen to but I am happy I did give it a listen. My boyfriend on the other hand, as soon as I heard the first song I knew he would love this album, he overheard it and asked me to send it to him for him to listen. My favorite song is

I have never got into much of Led Zeppelin, it was never my cup of tea. This album felt very long but I did enjoy the instrumental parts throughout the album. Many people say they like the first half better but I prefer the second half. My favorite song is Down By The Seaside. My mom loves Led Zeppelin, she said it sounds better when you’re stoned.

I had never heard of Marty Robbins, I am not interested in western vibes of music. I was shocked that I knew a song from the album “Big Iron” and that was pretty catchy. I probably won’t give this album another listen, but maybe it will be good small talk with my grandpa

I enjoyed listening to this album while I made banana bread french toast this morning. It was very catchy and easy to vibe with. I love Bob Marley, I recently watched the Bob Marley movie.
