1001 Albums Summary

Decent record I liked the vibe they were going for overall. Like the grapevine cover thought it was unique. Just think some of the songs could have had a bit more punch too them like previous CCR albums but still solid listen. 7.5/10

Not gonna never been a huge arcade fire fan bar the suburbs but thought this was decent. Thought it was a bit too quiet at times but I did enjoy the middle part and near the end just thought the first few songs weren’t brilliant. The couple of songs were great though. 6.5/10

I honestly didn’t really care about this when listening to it to be honest. It’s ok overall but I think Jack has done way better albums especially No Name. But you can tell the ideas are there for what he does in the future. 5/10

Really enjoyed this thought it was a consistent and entertaining album with a lot of great songs and lyrics. Honestly think this is one of the best electronics in the 2000s as it connects with the rock well rather than overtake it or just add noise for the sake of it. Solid 8/10

I felt the Christmas spirit so I think it was decent. 6.5/10

Classic album. Listened to it a few times before but was nice to give it another listen after a while and listening to vastly different music. Obviously the first track is a classic but other songs such as parachute woman and stray cat blues are bangers. Definitely check this out if you’re into a mix of folk and hard rock. 8/10

Not really much to say other than this is a masterpiece album. It changed everything when it came to studio work and experimental sounds. It’s inspired so many works in the future and still sounds timeless today. Taxman, I’m only sleeping and she said she said are my highlight tracks. 10/10

Decent album feel like it’s a nice chill one to listen to. Really like the different instruments as well this album is very unique sound definitely would recommend. 7/10

Classic album and very pivotal in the jazz revival of female singers in the UK. I like the consistent instrumentals and flow of the tracks. Main highlight js of course Amy’s voice and writing. Highly recommend for anyone to listen to. 8/10
