Not my favourite Radiohead album but it's still Radiohead and it's very good. Highlight: Nude.
I enjoyed it! It's good fun glam rock and of course Eddie is the master of the solo. 3 stars only because I didn't have much of a desire to listen to it again but I wouldn't be mad about it if I did.
This absolutely rules, I hadn't heard of this album though I had heard Piece of my Heart before. Absolutely rip roaring blues rock, feels like such a time capsule of that particular moment in rock history. Highlights: Summertime, Piece of My Heart, Turtle Blues, and both live songs.
There is something magical about this album I find it hard to put my finger on. It feels like the magic of live music, stripped really bare, imperfections and all. Highlight: Where did you sleep last night
Really cool. I like prog rock and this is super interesting. Some weird shit I'm not keen on but hey that's prog for you. Highlights: roundabout, south side of the sky
I love it when I can listen to an album and it fills in a gap in the lines drawn between genres and decades. It's mostly covers of rock standards, but heavier, faster and wilder. I can see where grunge, punk and garage rock got a lot of inspiration from this, and I can see where it's getting its inspirations from. It's fun and raw and unpolished and I can imagine parents taking this record away from their children.
Blues! I enjoyed it a lot, I think live albums from decades ago are so interesting to listen to and this one really captures the vibe in the room.
Yeah I dig it
Yeah I enjoyed it, couple skips though. Highlight: Ullswater
