reasonable album. not entirely my cup of tea but it's very put together, cohesive, and well produced.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Jan 07 2025

the birth of electronic music, really. a bit slower paced than i'd typically go for, but it's aged super, super well. i come back to kraftwerk every once in a while and i'm never disappointed.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Jan 08 2025

another one of those "man i really appreciate this forming the foundation of the genres i love today" but christ this is an absolute slog to get through. dudes smoked a fat bowl before heading into the studio to write a 13bpm lamentation about god knows what

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 09 2025

can't dispute the influence of hendrix, but this album isn't really doing it for me. there's some good ones, all along the watchtower is a classic. but this album feels all over the place at 16 tracks. i have a deep appreciation of the music of this time but it's certainly not a top genre for me.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Jan 10 2025

i dont think i really like jazz. i appreciate it for the beautiful genre it is, but i really cant get into this

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jan 14 2025

solid folk album. it's nice to hear something that isn't classic rock.
