1001 Albums Summary

This album is fucking awesome. I've heard a few of the songs already from the Elliot Smith Spotify playlist but hearing everything together really is nice. It's a very cohesive album. The mixing is consistent through every song.. the songs are a little more upbeat than his other albums but to be honest I need to give them full listens like this. 4.5 out of 5 album. I'll rate it 5 on here if they don't have half stars

Starting strong with Cult of Personality. This album is all over the place, but is totally cohesive. You can feel all the influence from punk, rock, hard rock.. to prince and pop. A fantastic finishing song and a few tracks I'll probably go back to. Good stuff.

I'm sure it's a great album but I was in a bad mood

Holy shit. I forgot all about this album. First song is one I used to listen to all the time. Definitely not really a GREAT album. But still worth a listen. 3/5

Instantly I recognized that Gilberto voice. Astrud must be related. I love some of the 90'z chill hop down tempo coffee shop vibe here. It's a 4.2 for me. Very good for night time chill vibes
