Wreck of the Old 97 reminds me of Charlie on the MTA Songs all kind of sound the same to me. Nothing that I love. Folsom Prison Blues is very good.
Track thoughts: 1) This sounds more modern than 1989 to me. So far I like this, more my style than some of the earlier albums. Reminds me a bit of Smashing Pumpkins, who I guess were already big by this time. 4) A bit trippier, not as much my thing I am the Resurrection is a really awesome track
Interesting to hear this Bowie music. I think of his music as being much more highly produced, and borderline pop. This was much funkier and rock. I don't like the vocals though, not his voice or the mic being used.
This is my kind of music. I can hear the early versions of Blue Monday, Daft Punk and others
