The Score by Fugees

Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Pras. "Ready or not" super recognizable, good track. Recorded really well, super clean. Drums especially really good. Really distracting me from studying physics. Vaguely reminds me of Mezzanine, especially "Zealots". "The Beast" reminds me of De la Soul's feature on Plastic Beach. Fu-Gee-La reminds me of Coast Contra freestyle but more mellow. Very good, will listen to again, highly recommend.

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan

This is like if Warren Zevon collaborate with Steve Miller band. The piano on "Reelin in the years" makes me feel like Zevon was sweating bullets as far as copyright laws were concerned. The singing on the verse also feel like something off of Zevon's self titled album. Also beautiful recorded, crazy clean considering it was recorded in the 70s. Overall incredibly enjoyable if you're a fan of that Steve Miller band sound. I mean it's Steely Dan. Also relatively short and sweet, didn't feel bloated, felt nice and clean

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush

"Running Up That Hill" is in fact an absolute bop. Listened to the album twice, grew on me the second time. Definitely a "headphone" album, really gained a greater appreciation of the synthetic soundscapes that way.

Not a huge fan, felt like a he musical equivalent of twiddling your thumbs, it was just kinda boring
