Disintegration
The CureOne of my favorite albums ever, definitely my favorite by The Cure, probably their best album. Lovesong and Lullaby are two longtime favorites.

This sounds like the music my Sim would listen to while crashing out. This is the music that plays during the emotional climax of the sad indie movie. It came out THE DAY after I was born. I like to imagine I’m the little homunculus on the cover
I have a real soft spot for 60’s music, especially when I feel like they’re trying to do weird shit. This was David Crosby’s first band, before he was in Crosby, Stills and Nash, so it’s cool to see where people came from before they were in what I know them for.
I have been waiting for this album to pop up. Tom Verlaine is the worst singer on the planet but I love this album. I have it on vinyl. My first time listening to Marquee Moon I liked it but I didn’t totally GET it, then I remember one day I was driving by the lake and I looked over and the sun was shining on the water and that dreamy high pitched dreamy guitar on the title track starts and it just hit me. Friction and Marquee Moon are probably my favorite tracks
Fuck yes White Denim. I love White Denim. They’re like if someone took a band from the 70’s to the 2010’s and they were like “ok I guess we’re just gonna do our thing now I guess.”
I liked Music for the Last Couple and That’s Entertainment but it wasn’t really my wheelhouse. It felt like a big nothing to me honestly.
This is the soundtrack to every game from the 90’s
Fantastic album by one of the best groups to ever do it. When I decided I was done with yesterday’s album I literally listened to this instead. Life, uh, uh, finds a way.
I’m not a huge Rolling Stones fan but every time I hear something by them I’m like “yeah I get it” a little more. It kinda sounds like a Bruce Springsteen album
I could never really get INTO Sonic Youth but this is a really good album. I really liked In the Kingdom #19 and Tom Violence reminded me of Joy Division
These guys sound like Greta Van Fleet
How do you do, don’t figure we’ve met. My names Ian, and I’m from Minor Threat. Out of Step is a great sobriety song
Not bad and even kinda punk but I just wasn’t feeling it
Not as good as off the wall but a pretty solid album backloaded with some hits. It’s like the Super Smash Bros of pop music. Paul McCartney, Vincent Price, Van Halen, produced by Vincent Price
One of my favorite albums ever, definitely my favorite by The Cure, probably their best album. Lovesong and Lullaby are two longtime favorites.
I’ve tried listening to this album a few times before and I really just can’t get into it. I think it’s pretentious bullshit and no matter how hard I try I just can’t get into it.
I really like The xx. I’m a huge fan of their first album which is immaculate, and this is kinda the opposite in terms of sound, but it’s still a really good album.
What can I say that hasn’t already been said
It’s pretty good and maybe it’s just cause they’re iconic but I feel like I’ve heard this album a million times before. It’s like if the Red Hoy Chili Peppers did metal instead of funk
I actually kinda liked this album. Very calming. It sounds like the music playing in the back of a Civilization game
Literally one of the greatest albums ever. The first concept album. It would’ve blown my fucking mind to listen to this in 1967.
This is the Gayest Marvin has ever been
It is pretty dern good I’m just not a huge ZZ Top fan
It’s fucked up how many good punk adjacent bands come out of Ohio
Never listened to King Crimson so this was a pretty eye opening experience for me
Always a 5/5 for Iggy
Never been too huge into Rod Stewart. Not awful or anything just really not for me
Much the same way Matt just DOESN’T like Radiohead, I just DONT like Grateful Dead
Nobody does it like Dolly
Literally the only album by U2 I find listenable
Honestly their best album. This and Meat is Murder are like the two albums that I can listen to front to back and half a good time
