Songs From The Big Chair
Tears For FearsLike a quintessential 80s album with lot of synth... "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". Lot of long songs, but some bangers at 2 of the 8 tracks is a quarter, pretty impressive.

Hmm maybe because it was just yesterday I had another mid 80s release - Tears for Fears - but totally different genre same year. I know a few Beastie Boy songs prior to listening, and still know the same ones (Brass Monkey, No Sleep, Fight, etc.) everything else just kind of blended together. Going to give a 4 because it is GOOD, just not LOVE.
2 hours is a lot to listen, but it was helpful to listen as I worked on some reports. Mello/chill vibes.
Lol, maybe it is me but just an english dude singing. Good song Starman, but rest of album didn't do too much for me.
I don't know, it reminded me of like a black Elton John. Little deeper, and little darker. Good music, wish I were drinking it listening to it on a record sipping a nice bourbon.
For Fragile: Not much of a music person, so cool to learn some songs I had heard before names and who sang. Not normally something I listen to. Reminded me of The Wall Pink Floyd, some short songs part of greater album stuff going on... Pretty good For Blonde On Blonde (forgot to leave notes): Another of those everything sounded the same. Good music, he had some harmonica in there which Grant likes, so I went with a 3.
Don't know the definition of a jam band.. all the songs sound the same? Phish DMB I think this fits. Good stuff, nothing to make me remember anything in particular about it
REALLY like this album. Something different, perhaps? Reminds me of sublime, ska y'know. Don't listen too much to what is being said but like how it sounds.
Classic. Enough said.
