Nice and mellow - great for background!

Love this - so easy to listen to and Ella's amazing voice just brightens up everything

Great album, atmospheric. I'm listening at 9am at my desk with a coffee. Feels like it would be better to do it at midnight with a bottle of whiskey.

Nice bit of nostalgia - reminded me of being an angsy 15 year old.

Classic. No notes. Still brilliant.

I love this album so much. While it's not my #1 favourite DC album (Short Album about Love gets that honour), it's a close second. From the pop ridiculousness (a good thing) of Something for the Weekend, to the fact that The Dogs and The Horses has never not made me cry, it's filled with tune after tune after tune. I just had a dance around my kitchen to 'Becoming More Like Alfie'. It won't be to everyone's taste, but if you buy into Neil Hannon's world, you'll come away happy.
