1001 Albums Summary

Groovy, I suppose could work as driving music, e.g. Half Moon, but some of the tracks don't impress. Me and Bobby McGee is a classic blues song. I quite like Trust Me, I suppose it has more of the qualities that I seek for in a song - more melodic ballad-y?

Decent vibes, britpop rock album, but nth special wonderwall is kinda underwhelming Dont look back in anger is a great classic. I also like hey now!

This is old rock. Not my thing really. It is too calm and quiet. I think maybe would be nice 20 years on. But it just sounds very sleepy and not much is happening. Nice to listen to something which hasn't been digitally processed much though. I quite like Powderfinger.

Good old classic R&B album. This belongs in a old movie recording or something. Analog recording sound. Not something I'd search but nice to have in arsenal, I suppose Songs feel quite similar to another?

ok im sorry but this one was mid despite being a rock album. its incredibly bland. the song structures are incredibly repetitive and the lyricss are boring ahh. fuck me bye. i dont want to rate it a 1 but coupled with the religious stuff this just rubs me off the wrong way.

It's not my type of sound? Sleepy, but not energetic? But also doesn't have the vibes that other sleepy songs have, e.g. mazzy star, nick drake. I suppose its ok. The second half of the album gets better,

Very interesting! SW remixed album so it surely must be good Ok it turns out to be quite dull... I can't sit through 17 minutes of electronic. It's not ambient per se but it's not interesting enough. Not much direction. I think I 'd get it if I sat through it a few times in a row but not enough time to do that so this is my first impression!
