At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Feb 09 2025

I’m not a jazz fan so my critique isn’t the most fair. But none of the songs stuck out to me. They all sounded the same and I found myself getting bored towards the middle of each song and getting the urge to skip. Again, I don’t like jazz so my feelings on this should be taken with a grain of salt. The fact that it’s a live studio album makes this a 3 star album instead of a 2 star.

I couldn’t finish the album. What genre this is, I don’t like it.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Feb 11 2025

My only qualm with this album is that there isn’t enough Michelle Phillips and Cade Elliot led songs. California Dreamin’, The “In” Crowd, and I Call Your Name are by far my favorite songs from “If You Can Believe You’re Eyes & Ears.” Michelle and Cass’ voices are so lively and beautiful, especially together. This album is a must listen to if you like 60s country/folk music.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Feb 12 2025

“Woodstock” is the best song on the album. “Helpless” stands out in a bad way. The lead vocalists on that song sounded horrible. Most of the other songs are forgettable.
