Guero by Beck
Feb 12 2025

This is really an undiscovered Beck album for me. I know some of these songs, but I really missed this when it first came out. great to discover a new album!!

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 14 2025

As a little kid, I really only heard Born in the USA and thought it was so cheesy. I really didn't get the hype, and thought all Bruce was cheesy music. Upon rediscovering this album later in life, it is clear that this album is solid from beginning to end and is one of his strongest and most consistent albums. Long live the Boss.

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Feb 17 2025

This captures an amazing time in music history. It is easy for me to personally dismiss the Blues as a stale and boring style of music, but this clearly shows the power, excitement and novelty of this music. Will definitely come back to this album.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Oct 31 2025

This stands up as a solid grunge album. Consistent sound from the very beginning - however the only memorable sounds are Black Days, Black Hole Sun and Spoon Man.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Nov 06 2025

found myself really wanting to get into it - but it was so long and all over the place that it didn't really stick with me.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Nov 11 2025

Overall, very solid and classic album. you can tell that this was an album of 1000 ideas... some finished and many pieced together, which is what makes it magical. great first two tracks - then a couple smaller ones (Bluebird feels like they couldn't come up with lyrics and just had Bluebird as a placeholder that stuck).

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Nov 12 2025

This album starts so strong... and then I kept chasing that next great song on the album, and while they are all solid rock songs, I didn't find the next great AC/DC hit. If you played "Get it hot" in your right ear and "Highway to Hell" in your left, you'd hear they are essentially the same song!

The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter by The Incredible String Band
Nov 13 2025

this is kinda unlistenable. I would be so disappointed if I bought this album. It just sounds dumb and goofy... I don't hear the genius behind the music.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Nov 25 2025

This was once upon a time my desert island album. Listening today I realize I know this album note for note, and it completely holds up. This is a near perfect album for me.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Nov 27 2025

This is a complex and wild album to review. I loved it, found it challenging, and some parts hard to listen to.

Honky Tonk Heroes by Waylon Jennings
Nov 28 2025

For a honky tonk album, I actually really liked it.
