Five Leaves Left
Nick DrakeNone of the songs particularly stood out to me. It’s a good listen and I can see it being enjoyable for background music but I don’t think it’s Nick’s best.

Incredible from start to finish, only a couple songs I’d prob not go back to but all in all it’s a great album for both private listening and group settings. Several of the songs stand the test of time in my opinion and age quite well, such as Heads Will Roll, Runaway and Dull Life. If I could give it 4.5 I would!
I really enjoyed this actually. I’ve only heard one or two songs previously from this band and never thought to really delve into them but there are defo some standout tracks on this one. There are songs I wouldn’t really go back to hence a 3/5 but it’s a solid sound and enjoyable listen for the most part.
genuinely did not enjoy this album. very dated and i was looking forward to getting to the last song
a classic for a reason and it’s fun to notice how their sound has influenced other bands I love. I can see how it might not be for everyone but you’re guaranteed to find at least two songs that you’d enjoy listening to on this album. I wouldn’t say it has no skips as some songs stand out a lot more than others but it’s overall a well made album
Eh, I generally enjoy one or two songs but I just feel iffy about the whole composition of the album considering where Simon got his inspiration from and the political climate at the time. Not awful but not memorable. The two stars is more for the talent of the featured South African artists.
As if I needed an excuse to listen to this masterpiece of an album again but I’m so glad 1001 albums has given me one. Many compare it its predecessor and I honestly think In Utero is more raw and unique and one of the best (if not the best) album of the genre. If Nevermind is an angel then in utero is god.
Great listen and something I’d probably go back to. I haven’t sat down to listen to Ray before despite hearing many of his songs over the years so this was a super nice experience. It’s also so crazy how you don’t realise each song is a rendition of a country one at first - just a testament to Ray’s artistry and talent!
Love how this album makes me feel and the atmosphere it creates. Quite cohesive as a body of work which I appreciate too. I didn’t know much about the group until recently even though I’ve heard of them here and there but my goodness, can’t believe I wasn’t listening to this properly before. Can see why it’s a classic for sure
I actually never listened to this in full before today and honestly there are some great gems on here. No body no crime reminds me of the early Taylor sound I used to love as a teen. I wouldn’t say it’s revolutionary or entirely innovative as an album but I appreciate the cohesiveness as a body of work.
Actually quite enjoyable. Cosmic Dancer and Get it On stood out to me the most. I definitely do not see myself listening to the whole album again and some of the songs are already forgotten but it’s not bad
Some of my favourite songs from Missy are on here. We definitely have Timbaland to thank for his services to humanity. Some songs are quite missable though. Sock it to me, best friends, the rain and friendly skies would give this a 4/5 alone but with the other songs on the album dragging it a bit, I have to give it a 2
Decent, all I can say really
surprise thom yorke feature, not once but twice
