1001 Albums Summary

Sounds like the birth of true hip hop. The beats are fresh and bassy. The samples are choice. Up there with J5 and NWA.

Not really my thing but powerful stuff and her voice and songwriting are fantastic. I tailed off a bit after a stronger start. I prefer the upbeat songs to the sadder slow songs.

A good rap album. Beats and pen game are super strong. My only complaint is the dated misogyny.

Excellent and great fun. The man in black at his best.
