1001 Albums Summary

meh didn't care for the first two songs, then moondance came on.... to me Van Morrison's voice is not a good match for the song, which is a shame because i really like the song otherwise. so now i'm listening to covers instead of continuing the album, finishing the album will take some discipline it seems. eventually finished the album..... meh

i had a busy day today, i couldn't really find time to properly sit down and listen to the album. in the end i listened to the album in the background while doing house work. i enjoyed it but definitely want to go back and give it a more focused listen.

i really wanted to like this album but it just didn't work on me....

On the wrong side of relaxation is (an aptly named) unsettling yet intriguing start. I was not in the right headspace for this album and couldn't finish it. Ranking is tough... On a personal experience level it's very much 1 star, I did not enjoy it. But at the same time I get the sense that's rather the point and there is a lot of interesting things going on.... In the end I'm just not able to appreciate them at this point in time.
