1001 Albums Summary

As someone only familiar with the mainstream image and popularity of Dylan, this album was an incredibly fresh introduction to his catalogue. Bob is an amazing storyteller, whether fact or fiction, and several songs on this album show that in spades.

Not gonna lie, I think these guys like sex just as much as they like music. Couldddd be trippin', idk lol.

Incredible opening. The atmosphere is everything.

Capital C - "Consistency". The sound of the album is an interesting time capsule; it's both an in-depth view of the 2000s indie/alt scene at the time of release and an early look at the shift in the music industry that occurred throughout the early 2000s that's still resonating to this day. Gorillaz as a brand, in my honest opinion, is one of the most interesting depictions of art in music. The fusion of different music genres and styles of production works in conjunction with an artstyle that combines several aspects of counter-culture, late 20th century animation, punk visuals, underground comics, and many more other inspirations.

The start of an amazing trilogy and it shows. The dynamics soundscapes Bowie and co are able to produce are incredibly experimental and fascinating in its implementation. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the Berlin trilogy
