This was the first jazz album I have listened to from start to finish. The first jazz musician I ever heard was Fats Waller, and he is quite a character and a fantastic jazz artist. This album was a completely different listening experience, not in a bad way at all, just different. Unique sounds that I have not been exposed to before. Blue Rondo À la Turk was a phenomenal opening track, which let me know right off the rip that this was going to be a listeing experience with changing tempos and varying intensities. Take Five is great, we all know that. The rest of the tracks were all good, but nothing stood out remarkably. Great album to have in the background while working or as the main focus of my attention. This has definitely made me want to listen to more jazz music and I would recommned this album to others.
