1001 Albums Summary

1) Green River - Guitar is good/bull frog line is fire 2) Commotion - drums/guitar to start song are fantastic 3) Tombstone Shadow - Fantastic 4) Wrote a Song for Everyone - Classic 5) Bad Moon Rising - Classic 6) Lodi - Classic 7) Cross-Tie Walker - good song but probably least favorite on album 8) Sinister Purpose - Good 9) The Night Time is the Right Time - Great finish/ like the solo mid song

We probably get Eric Clapton at or near his best in this one. Couple that with probably the greatest slide guitarist ever in Duane Allman, and really solid performances from Bobby Whitlock. The result is a fantastic album. Add in the fact that “Layla” is about Clapton wanting to smash his good friend George Harrison’s wife gives it some DIABOLICAL lore. “Have You Ever Loved a Women” super underrated.

This album has always been just ok for me. It’s always noted as one of the most important punk albums ever. When I listen I’ve always felt underwhelmed.

Couple bottles of wine. Homemade chicken parm. Watch something classic like Casablanca. Possibly finish a with a tobacco pipe on the porch.

Fantastic album. Levon, rotten peaches, razor face, and all the nasties are super underrated. Feel like Indian sunset falls short. Tiny dancer is a classic.

Tracks B and C were pretty good. A and D felt busy, all the instruments didn’t flow at times. It was an ok jazz album but no my favorite.

You definitely gotta be in to R&B to like it, but this albums is dope. Lady, higher, shit damn mf all classics with some underrated gems sprinkled in.

This album is so sick. Everyone knows Do It Again, Dirty Work, and Reelin’ In The Years they are timeless classics. I think Kings is the under appreciated song of the album. Tracks 7-10 not as strong as the first six but still respectable
