1001 Albums Summary

As a whole album, this was hardly what I would normally listen to. The two hits ("One Way or Another" and "Heart of Glass") are the main things that stuck with me after two or three listens. Yet overall, I was quite impressed with Debbie Harry's vocal performance and the fact that every song had a catchy riff and chorus to it. I got to revisit this later, I suppose.

I had always meant to properly listen to Yes, them being one of the prog greats and all, yet this was my first real attempt. The realization is that I love the musicianship, the playing chops (especially the bass, whom I believe is Squire?) and the overall excellence of all the musicians. But the song structure itself loses me.
