1001 Albums Summary

i didnt like the vocals but other than that it was relatively easy to listen to

it was nice to listen to this album while the lyrics dont speak to me all that much the rest is pretty good all around i also feel like not all songs are on the same level i would say that this is not a bad album but i dont particularly love it either, im not sure what to rate it but 3/5 seems most appropriate

i spent some time doing something else in the background first sometimes the tracks served as nice background music sometimes i would notice how repetitive and filled with weird noise it was despite not actively listening to it after that i started to listen more actively and before long i felt like i was stuck in a fever dream by the end of the album i had a headache that lasted for 2 hours

im skimming through the tracks because they sound awful, but i listened to several portions of most tracks i gave "raw power" by the stooges a 2/5 and i think this album is significantly worse than that, so ill have to give this one a 1/5 with that in mind

its a nice album and i didnt struggle to listen to all of it, but it doesnt really blow me away either, my biggest issue was that a lot of the individual tracks didnt stand out much to me, there were times were i wasnt a fan of the vocal work is it better than back in black? im not sure

there is some distinguishable tracks in here which is nice but i didnt really like any of them i feel like im close to liking this album at times but usually not for long but i didnt really hate listening to it and i listened to all of it

There is a poetic quality to the lyrics which is nice But I didn’t like them most of the time I also wasn’t a fan of the singing for the most part I ended up not listening to everything but i read all The lyrics and listened to multiple parts of the ones i skipped I think for me the biggest flaw in this album is that the lyrics seem stupid to me and it makes it harder to appraise the rest of it and on second thought the singing itself is also really grating and unpleasant most of the time, i didnt want to put this in the same category as "since i left you" by the avalanches but putting it in the same category as non stop erotic cabaret and the stooges would probably be a disservice to both of those and since i wasnt able to listen to the entire thing that probably should warrant a 1/5 rating

its a pretty good album, i didnt really hate any of the tracks Although I didn’t like the last song much and no woman no cry was better live still its pretty good all around

its a good album, it holds up quite well for how old it is it feels hard to rate it a 4/5 but its better than what i currently rated at 3/5 i think
