MobySongs are a bit repetitive, but kind of unique for its time. South Side is still a banger.

2011 boom-clap beats and indie Taylor Swift voice combine with dogshit stupid lyrics to make… whatever this was. Who put this album on here? I liked Supercut, but only a little.
I’ve seen this album cover quite a bit and never knew what it was. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but wow. This album is truly awesome. The flute, the bassoon, the timpani, the strings, etc. are all such beautiful and warm additions. I loved this album.
…..ok
I can’t rate this 4.5, so it was ultimately Kim & Cookie, Bombs Over Baghdad, Gangsta Shit, and the unexpected features of Killer Mike, Gangsta Boo, and Erykah Badu that ultimately pushed this to 5 stars for me.
Great flow, great vocabulary.
It’s good, but I don’t like it.
YEAHHHH HERE COME THE ROOSTERRRR
I would be surprised if Tom Waits was not cited by Modest Mouse as an influence, especially on a lot of MM’s early work. I love them both. I enjoyed the chaos of this album.
Here’s another one I’d kept seeing the album cover of, but had never made time to listen.
