RadioheadI really enjoy listening to this album. Karma Police is probably my fav track -- this is what you get when you mess with us. Solid from start to finish. Layered. Melodic

First Listen. Can see why and where Jimmy would have been influential. Great Hammond organ player. I don't usually listen to jazz, but I like it when I do. Hope to come back to listen to more of him.
First listen although have heard many of the tracks before. Not someone to listen to whole albums of rap but this is good all the way through. No passengers here. Cant lose with Chuck D's voice. Great lyrics. Flava Flav: Ya, boiiii.
First listen. In the beginning I thought it was sounding great. Kind of a sit back and chill or cruise type of vibe. But as it continued, it felt unexciting, average. Sultans of Swing is excellent. Mark Knopfler is an excellent guitarist but horrible singer. His voice gets a bit monotonous. Dylan does it better.
The sound of the 80s nostalgia in a nutshell. All tracks are good but not necessarily great. Listened to this a fair amount growing up. Now the synth and vocals sound too dated for me. Wish this rating system had more range. 3.5? 3.75?
First listen. One great title song and the rest is pretty standard fare. Just not varied enough for my tastes. An ok listen.
First listen. Solid album with great solos but what do I know about Jazz? Liked the part where Duke had to calm down the audience to stop a riot.
First listen. A few songs are catchy. Overall though, I found the album dated, uninspiring and in cohesive. It's just ok.
Have to give it a solid 3. Side one really only has Poison Arrow. But side two is solid with All of My Heart and one of their best...Look of Love. I had a few ABC albums but Beauty Stab was the one I listened to most. Edgier. Maybe need to revisit why I liked that one and whether I still do.
First listen. Familiar with the hits: Sweet Love and Caught Up in the Rapture. Brilliant voice. Songs are all fine. However, the 80s instrumentation and flourishes don't hold up today, unless that's your thing. Feel bad giving it a two. Might be higher if it was more my thing.
First listen. Great album. Doesn't get smoother than this. Just chill. This one could grow into a fav.
Born on the Bayou is a great song. Proud Mary is not one of my favorite CCR songs. However, the swamp boogie is infectious. Solid album from beginning to end.
First listen. Fairly solid album but nothing overly inspiring to me. Considered the first trip hop album. I do like that vibe to chill out to, so thank you for that.
Haven't heard this in 30+ years? Not sure I have listened to it straight through either. Classic old school rap/hip hop. Very nostalgic for me. Walk This Way may have been the most popular song but listening now, the mix is terrible. Otherwise, most of the other tracks are great except Dumb Girl has not aged well. Not something I'll pull out except in a nostalgic mood.
First listen. Solid album from beginning to end. The first half is very good. Will come back to this one. Could hear the Bob Mould influence on Foo Fighters.
First listen. Interesting in that it is the transitional album between the old Temptations sound and the psychedelic new Temptations sound. It has elements of both. However, the new sound songs don't do it for me. I'm sure my dad has this album.
First listen. Not usually a soft rock fan, but this has more variety than just soft rock, and I came back to the soft rock hits: Hello It's Me, I Saw the Light. I relistened to a good portion of this a few times. Quite enjoyable. Even hear the Sparks connection: Viking Song, Carly Simon and early Elton John. Who inspired who? Is it a 3 or a 4? That's a tough one. May have to re-evaluate.
