1001 Albums Summary

I realise that monotone sad girl crooning is Lana’s thing but a whole album of it is just bland

Some great songs (the well-known hits) but others felt same-same. Overall the songs with Grace Slick as the vocalist were the more memorable ones.

A great example of a country album, country just isn’t really for me

I really enjoyed it but 40 songs is too many for one album

A creative album but I found the constant chopping and changing of rhythms a bit too dissonant for my liking

I didn’t have time to listen to the whole thing, but the songs I listened to were alright. I particularly liked Another Girl, Another planet

I wouldn’t say this is as good as some of their classic hits, but it was alright

I like this style of music but this specific album felt forgettable

I’ve long thought The Stone Roses just weren’t a band for me but there were a few tracks on this album I actually liked

Sounds like if Donnie from The Wild Thornberries were to record an album

I understand that this was a very influential album it’s just not my personal favourite of Dylan’s

Not enough songs that made me want to get up and dance. In my opinion, there are better Motown albums

I was really looking forward to this album because I LOVE Deceptacon. The rest of it isn’t as good as that song though
