Listening statistics & highlights
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Country isn't really my thing usually, but this more rock-n-roll type works well for me. I really appreciate the distortion on the closer in contrast to the opener.
I really hate rating this as low as I do, it just isn't my type of music. I can really appreciate the artestry that's in this, the more unconventional trumpet and trombone parts and the dynamics of it all, but I just don't really enjoy it. I'm sorry.
What can I say, I think its really boring Instrumentals are bland and interchangeable, yeah the singing and vocal work is good but it's not enough to carry a whole album (imo)
Finally, it's getting good. This sounds interesting, both lyrically and sound-aly, and breaks the monotony of a lot of the earlier albums.
Panama and I'll wait are alright The rest is rather meh imo And even though I like masturbatory guitar solos, it doesn't really catch me here
