Some occasional great, more new-wave focussed, songs. However, overall too much glam/soft-rock 80s vibes for me

Perfect album, great morphing of shoegaze with dreampop

First 4 songs are well-known and generally OK, the rest of the album is just boring and uninspired

Never really was able to listen to The Cure, past their mos famous hits. Tried their albums quite some times, but never landed. This one was actually very nice and atmospheric, felt as an interesting prequel to early shoegaze & dreampop and inspriration to bands like Interpol

Pretty nice, 2nd half became a bit of a burden, maybe not the right moment in time to listen to. Will definitely go for a 2nd round

Pretty fun poppy new-wave album. Not greatest ever, but still worth the effort
