This definitely grew on me the second listen. I don’t know how much I’ll actually go back to play these songs but I can see why people like this album and I can appreciate a lot of the tracks on it. Not my usual genre but definitely worth the listen.

This album just sounded like one big continuous song. I don’t dislike it but I don’t know if I’d purposely put it on. It kind of started growing on me the more I listened to it. I can see why people like it though, just not a big fan of soul music. It just seems kind of slow and forgettable to me. My favourite tracks were My Girl and Wonderful World.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Apr 26 2025

A lot of the songs on this album are either forgettable or straight up grating. Sometimes the way he sings just annoys me. Still there were a few tracks I liked and I love Sweet Child O’Mine. Favourite Tracks: Sweet Child O’Mine, Nightrain, Paradise City

This is an hour of my life I will never get back

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Apr 27 2025

I didn’t hate it but I don’t think I’d ever go back and play any of these songs. They’re not very memorable to me. Favourite Tracks: Fell In Love With A Girl, I Can’t Wait, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Apr 28 2025

The opening track started off interesting. I liked the instrumentals but as soon as the vocals started, I wasn’t sure if this album would be my thing. The next two tracks were not it for me. Then I got to Someone Great and All My Friends. I was shocked by how much I liked these two. This gave me hope for the rest of the album but unfortunately none of the other tracks stood out to me. I found them either boring and repetitive or just straight up bad. 2 stars though for Someone Great and All My Friends

American Idiot by Green Day
Apr 30 2025

I liked this album a lot more than I expected too. So many popular songs on here. The tracks in the second half felt weaker than the first half but still pretty good and overall enjoyable listen. Favourite Tracks: American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Give Me Novacaine

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
May 01 2025

I don’t know. It was okay. I didn’t dislike it but also nothing really stood out to me. It felt like background music, I could fall asleep listening to this. I tried to give it a second listen because I couldn’t remember any of the tracks but even the second time didn’t leave an impression on me. Normally I like to write my top tracks but they all felt about the same. I kept trying to compare each track but I instantly forgot what the previous one sounded like. Probably won’t come back to it but I guess I enjoyed the listen.

Nick Of Time by Bonnie Raitt
May 02 2025

I liked this a lot more than i expected to after seeing all of the bad reviews. The lyrics can be corny at times but still such a fun album. Although I might be biased as I love country and country-adjacent music. Top Tracks: Love Letter, Too Soon To Tell, Nick Of Time

1989 by Taylor Swift
May 09 2025

Definitely not my favourite Taylor Swift album but I can’t NOT give this 5/5. Every song on here is at minimum good with many iconic hits. Top Tracks: This Love, Clean, Wildest Dreams, Blank Space Bonus (deluxe version): You Are In Love
