Solid synth and bass. Top shelf production.

Opens like the gates of heaven with “What’s Going On” and proceeds to lay down a yellow brick road of smooth social consciousness. By the end, I was wishing cultural appropriation was culturally appropriate.

Overall solid addition with socially conscious and straight-up enjoyable funk. Musicianship is top shelf.

Solid hip hop entry with classic beat and instrumental elements that lend themselves perfectly to the lyrical style and flow of Solaar.

As far as a band’s catalogue goes, this is a “classic”. Whining and thrashing guitars, lyrics for days and composition that is a glimpse of projects to come, both within and outside the band itself. A solid listen that really never grows old.

A straight up call-back to the glory days of college radio.

Solid blues riffs and vocals, just nothing new or experimental that would set it apart from other entries of that time period.
