Innervisions by Stevie Wonder

This album is really impressive. I love the more funky elements and the musicianship is outstanding.

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley

Blue Suede Shoes is great but the rest of the album, while not bad doesn’t feel very standout. A lot of the songs sound very samey and Elvis is mostly covering songs here rather than coming up with his own original work. That being said it’s fine but not something I’d come back to.

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Apr 29 2025

Honestly really solid stuff. If I could rate this a 3.5 I would because it’s really solid but I think it’s just shy from great. It makes for really nice background music and I honestly really enjoy the vibe the organ brings to the table here. I really like the first track and most of this album isn’t terribly memorable but it’s really pleasant while it’s on and I could totally see this being a good background listen if I wanna relax.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp

I enjoyed this. The songs were a little samey and it sounds a little dated but a lot of these songs had a great vibe to them and there’s no bad songs.
