1001 Albums Summary

So far, reminds of just some slightly more slurred dad rock. I like the instrumentals though, its got some real good harmonies. Jazzy sounds and other things, something I'd throw in the background to do dishes with my Dad. I'm picturing going on a milkshake date while listening to some of these songs. Pretty catchy. CALLED IT!! Both parents were big fans, dad more of his older work lmao

The fits go crazy But seriously, I wonder why we sometimes get their less popular albums?? It is also super impressive how long their music career has spanned, and given the variety and evolution of styles they engage in. Really speaks to them as musicians, I guess. Late night dinner dates/cooking in a rainy apartment with the window open vibes go HARD.

Okay, banger of an opening song, goddamn. I definitely think I would like it more if I was in a better headspace. Can't deny that its good music, and I want to read more the lyrics, just wasn't in the best place to really appreciate it

6 DISCS???? THE FUCK?!?!? Also I mean, its Ella Fitzgerald. She's fucking amazing. There is really nothing much to say that hasn't been said before. She's one of the queens of jazz, her voice is beyond iconic and as a jazz fan, I just adore her. FR tho, I kind of hate the album art. It's so fucking ugly

I am biased because I just love her as a person, and I knew her for her newer singing for an Ice Age movie. It's kinda cool to hear this
