Sometimes I Wish We Were An Eagle

Absolutely wild how many generations hits are on this thing, sometimes lyrically nonsensical but iconic regardless. Side note, strangely mixed. It feels very tinny and almost no midrange. Anyone else feel that? Or just me?
Paul simon is completely unique in his ability to write compelling and brilliant lyrics and couple them with truly unique and interesting music. I'm biased as I already think paul simon is the goat songwriter
Bad company from the album bad company by the band bad company is a lot of fun. Nothing really sticks in my soul or anything but hey, good time cruising to work on this one.
Absolutely loved this one. Simplistic. Clean. Sounds like two guys having a blast. Reminds me of ramones or ween in that aspect. Will listen again and have already listened to more by them.
Maybe just wasn't in the mood or something, this one seemed to be a proper slog to listen to. Far too much empty space.
Absolutely exceptional songwriting.
I enjoyed this, isn't the most incredible thing but a solid work. Particular fan of the standard 'sunny side' so that was good to hear how he can do it his way.
Really of its time. Doesn't work for me outside of some American pie soundtrack. Really feels like a time capsule, like how all movies in the 90s didn't have stakes because it was always about a guy who hates his job or a young man who doesn't know what to do with his life. Points for consistency, and the no doubt countless other artists who started thinking 'hey I could do that'
I mean, it's zeppelin. I'd give it 4 stars if it was just Bonham's drum stems. Maybe 5 stars in that case.
Just a solid hardcore album, they deliver what they say they will
