I understand why it caught the attention when it came out. It's catchy, brash and very sure of itself. Musically it also has some interesting aspects, it's more than just a pop-punk album. But it's still mainly a pop-punk album; music for a party of young people.

It started out a bit lacklustre and unfocused, but about mid-way it started to come together. In the end I found it to be a perfectly fine album with some quite inspired and engaging parts.

Classic Beatles, innit. Solid tunes, a little funky, a little weird.

It's Harvest by Neil Young. What more is there to say?
