1001 Albums Summary

This album is all over the place in terms of sounds and samples. I liked a couple songs through the first listen. But, I feel like I’d enjoy it more late night after some herb and ales.

Another interesting scenario to be listening to RAGTM, sitting at a desk working in excel. I really enjoyed the bassist though, seems to be the main ingredient to the band aside from the vocals. Not something I would listen to consistently.

This is just good clean fun. Calm vibes, a good album to walk, bike, or just sit in a park too. Paul McCartney solo album slaps. Also, pretty cool this was recorded in Nigeria.

Right off the bat it reminded me of movies like the Sandlot, Everybody Wants Some, Dazed and Confused, etc. This album grew on me a lot, I think 3 stars is too low, but 4 stars is too high. Lady vocals jam, lots of variation in style.

Honestly, I’m not sure I actually caught any of the actual words/am not sure what language this is but I really enjoyed the calming melody and music. Would maybe be a fun show to attend, but not something I would listen to consistently.

This guy absolutely rocks. I wish I walked into a random speakeasy in New Orleans and this guy was sitting in a chair serenading me. Hard to find this kind of music anymore. Wild mix of blues, folk, and rock & roll. Divine intervention, heard Ain’t That a Shame at dinner hours after listening to his discography.

I have listened to this album many times, one of my favorite hip-hop/rap albums of all time.
