1001 Albums Summary

I was surprised by my fondness for this album. Not in my usual wheelhouse, but I was taken by it at times. The effervescence of the pre-millenium distilled and evaporating into shiny floating desktop background clouds.

The organ and saxes go crazy on this funky vibing ride.

All time God tier masterpiece

Hauntingly beautiful. 4.5 stars is more appropriate than 4.

This was totally new to me, and I loved it. These gents shred on the guitars.

Even though I'm aware of its stature in music history, and of a few of the singles from it, this album still overwhelmed me with its power and soul. 4.5 stars.

Don't have much t o say, but I did find it very compelling. Felt like a precursor to the aphex twin sound that I love.

It's not th best-selling album of all time for no reason. Although there's a couple forgettable tracks, it'd be hard to deny this pop leviathan its rightful 5 stars.

Decent, probably deserves a relisten
