Woodface by Crowded House
Jun 05 2025

saw on spotify this band was similar to the police AND fleetwood mac?!? i really liked their sound and didn’t know them beyond the scope of “don’t dream it’s over” and now i’m def a fan. fav was probs four seasons in one day BUT some of them did blend together. not in an unpleasant way though

Parklife by Blur
Jun 06 2025

at first this album felt very 80s to me and i was surprised to see it came from the 90s. a couple of songs in, it became clear it was 90s but genre bending and very explorative. i liked how i couldn’t predict their sound from song to song. standouts: tracy jacks, the debt collector, to the end, trouble in the message centre (!!!), and jubilee.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Jun 10 2025

good but blends in with lots of rock from this time🫣

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jun 11 2025

have the t-shirt from this album from seeing them at a fest the second time. first time listening to the album all the way through. favs were title track pt. 1, in the morning of the magicians, it’s summertime, do you realize? and approaching pavonis… gave tame impala but also psychadelic 70s/80s poppy experimental hippie who did lots of drugs.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Jun 12 2025

this was an awesome album. OBViously i knew rebellion (lies) and recognized a few others from seeing them in concert but i really enjoyed listening all the way through and have to admit that idk if i would have done this on my own. favs: neighborhood #1, #3, wake up, haiti, rebellion (lies), and in the backseat.

Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
Jun 19 2025

this was weird to me at first but i pushed through and felt elitist and pretentious for liking it and “getting” it. did i actually “get” it? the world may never know

Dummy by Portishead
Jun 20 2025

i really liked this album. ethereal and emotional and funky. verrrrry much enjoyed

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jun 23 2025

This one was pretty to listen to. I knew the first track bc or virality but the others were so good. Listened while I was doing my final summer school assignment and it was a great time.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Jun 24 2025

okay unpopular opinion bowie is kind of whiny.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jun 25 2025

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jun 30 2025

fucking LOVED this album. every song was like a timeless hug. wow, listened with my nanny kids and they loved it too. i liked being able to pop on an album and it appeal to me and them and also would work listening with my grandma? duality. wow.
