Particularly enjoyed the instrumentals on this. Struggled with the vocal phrasing, which made listening to it all the way through a bit challenging for me, but I can appreciate the musicianship and can understand why she’s highly rated for her unique style.

Fairly inoffensive soul music. I’d play it in the background and enjoy the instrumentals.

Never felt the urge to listen to any Blur records based on my exposure to their singles which were mostly never to my taste, but enjoyed this. Experimental sounds, with good dynamics and diversity in the songs throughout the album. Great tones from guitar & bass. Will definitely revisit the album.

Sounds better than current music from this genre. Enjoyed it more than I thought. Not sure I’d listen to it again though, hence score.

Understandably not the listen it probably was back in the 60s. Scoring based off enjoyment and likelihood I’ll listen to it again.
