Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Jun 10 2025

I’m bad at rating, I’m gonna hate this part of the project. Not only do I change my mind a lot but coming up with a number is really hard for me. However Tracy Chapman’s self titled album was great, the catchy and heartfelt gutair was good to listen to. Her vocals where very folky and original. Unfortunately I wasn’t paying the closest attention to the lyrics, but I understood her critique of materialism and struggles of being a woman. Some of my favorite songs are Why?, Fast Car, and Talkin Bout Revolution. My favorite instrumental was “She’s got her ticket”. Out of 5, I’m pretty lost. I don’t have my complaints for it, if I had to come up with one, maybe it was a bit repetitive. But that’s unfair for me to say considering I could’ve payed much more attention. Phenomenal album, I guess I’ll punch in a four.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Jun 11 2025

Siiick. Really liked this one. favorite tracks were Ten Years Gone, In my time of dying, and The rover. This is my first LED Zeppelin album I’ve listened too and I’m a big fan. I’d give it a 4.5/5 or a 9/10. I prefer it over Tracy Chapman from yesterday just because it was much more energetic and funner to listen to compared to the slower and more emotional Tracy Chapman. All great stuff

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Jun 12 2025

My history with Eminem is long but I’ve never ever listen to an entire album of his. A lot of his songs were part of my childhood but I’ve since been somewhat of a Eminem hater. The Slim Shady LP was great, it’s my type of edgy. Dope flows, funny bars, catchy hooks. The only song I heard before was “My name is”. But some of my favorite songs was “just don’t give a fuck”, “‘97 Bonnie n clyde”, “cum on everybody”. My name is is a classic though. “Brain damage” is funny as hell. I would say that I did enjoy listening to physical graffiti more because it was refreshing to what I normally listen to, not saying it’s necessarily better or worse. It probably give it a 7.5-8/10, maybe more.

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Jun 13 2025

4th album and 4th album I’m gonna lazily give a 4 to. The first part of the album is really catchy and fun, I really like the songs “don’t hurt my little sister” and “dance dance dance”, but often it felt a bit clean for my taste, and some of the vocals feel over enunciated to me, not a real criticism. Although I prefer the moodier ballads on the second half, like “please let me wonder”, and “in the back of my mind” which sound more emotional. Overall I think I preferred listening to it than Slim Shady LP, not to dunk on slim shady lp, I think it’s probably the better album. But this album being shorter and once again, more refreshing than what I am used to, worked in its favor. I’d probably give it a 7/10 for me. But I don’t wanna put 3/5 hahahhahahahaha

good but really long, liek really really long. All quality but the songs werent unique enough from each other to justify listening to a 3 and a half hour album. Cool songs are, love is here to stay, siff upper lip and embracable you
