Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Jun 15 2025

wouldn’t say i liked a single song on this album. defintely can see it being the foundation for psychedelic and avant- garde music but its a little too out there for me. some cool sounds and lyrics tho very interesting. zappa being zappa. help, i’m a rock.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Jun 16 2025

Definitely one of the better albums I've heard. Musicianship is amazing alongside experimentation that seemed to work every instance. Some really groovy metal that definitely laid the foundation for future blues/metal/hard rock bands. It also has arguably the most popular riff of all guitar riffs with Smoke On The Water. I really want to give this album five stars, but it will stay at four stars for now.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jun 17 2025

Great album that really captures the evolving state of music in the '80s and '90s. They use their incredibly unique sound to its fullest potential, creating tracks that encapsulate a dream-like world. The vocals are really, really good, and even though you can't understand a lot of the lyrics, the melody makes up for it, and it adds to the mysteriousness of the album, letting the listener decide what the songs mean. "I pu and cock two twins, is this heaven or Las Vegas? They sayin we’re abt to pitch a baby, am I a fifty-fifty clown?"

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jun 18 2025

Some good southern rock. Great musicianship and a couple of really good tracks. The guitar work is really good. Just not the biggest fan of Fogerty's voice.

Copper Blue by Sugar
Jun 20 2025

Pretty good album. Some catchy tunes and good instrumentation. Really great mix, everything sounds great. 2.5 / 5

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Jun 21 2025

some really good blues. insane musicianship. incredible flow that combines into a giant mashup of great ideas.

Who's Next by The Who
Jul 01 2025

Pretty good album but overhyped imo. Not the biggest fan of The Who tbh kinda get tired of Roger Daltreys voice. The bass on this album is pretty unreal but a lot of the songs don’t rlly grab my attention. However, the hits on this album are some of the biggest songs of the 70s so that is why this is getting 3 stars.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jul 13 2025

Incredible story portrayed through amazing music. Meaningful lyrics, iconic riffs, and solos. David Gilmour's guitar work on this album is some of his best. You can sense the band slowly falling apart, given that this is essentially a Roger Waters project. Really, really good, but I don't think this is even a top 3 Pink Floyd album.
