gitara je funky i lepo se sjedinjuje sa bubnjevima. glasovi se čuju u distanci, odjekuju. green river za mene predstavlja folk, gospel i bluz klasik karakterističan za Ameriku 60-ih i 70-ih. Mogu da zamislim kanjone i van life sa četvoricom momaka koji sviraju, kao u Home Alone polka dot bend. Lodi mi se svidela zbog gitare, nije toliko uplifting što se tiče melodije, ali stvara priču o ličnom iskustvu benda creedence clearwater revival bez idealizovanja života poznatih ličnosti. Nije nešto što bih ja inače slušala, ali mi se sviđa to što su zvuci i odabir instrumenata toliko karakteristični za jedan period. Sinister purpose mi se dopada jer ima grungy side za razliku od drugih pesama sa albuma. Drugačiji je pristup, gitara nije toliko folkish već ima distorciju. The night time is the right time definitivno vuče ka roku i bluzu u poređenju sa prvom trećinom albuma koja je all about folk. Sviđa mi se lyrics “Baby, I said baby, Baby, come on and drive me crazy, Lord You know I love you; always thinking of you” malo je sexyy i sam deliver nije cheesy. Broken spoke shuffle mi je super soundtrack za neki video. Dopadaju mi se bubnjevi mnogo, brzina se konstantno menja, usporavaju i ubrzavaju se. Glory Be je FENOMENALAN demo zbog basa, gitare i bubnjeva. Utišavaju se bubnjevi za solo gitaru i bas, sve to ide u krug ali je tako well put together. Krenula sam sa predrasudama da slušam album, ali sad kad sam ga završila apsolutno razumem zašto se smatra da CCR ima klasike. Bili su locirani u San Francisku, svirali su 4 godine i imali 150 tour dates+ Gold album.. Tradicionalni folk nije my cup of tea, ali su zaista neverovatni i primećuje se uložen trud i detalji. Ranije se mnogo drugačije stvarala muzika i kreativnost je na prvom mestu. Iako je svugde bilo psihodeličnog roka, oni su eksperimentisali sa tradicionalnim

not really impressed.. the flow is disrupted with background noises of sirens or bells which happen to be very annoying it sounds like a mosquito flying near your ear. lyricism is amazing, the whole album is about politics and racism, topics that are relevant and important. i just didn’t feel anything, that’s all. i’m okay with hiphop, it’s not about my preference but i just think the production could have been better. it’s that type of album you listen to once, and never again because it’s loud and doesn’t give you that kick again

She’s got her ticket ima prelepu gitaru, podseća me na reggae i neki blues. Album je za sada underwhelming, ima neki built up i mislim da konačno Tracy pušta glas posle ove pesme i zaista dobijam neku celovitu sliku. Jednostavno mislim da ovakav tekst ne ide uz ovaj žanr muzike. Ne možeš ni da plešeš uz ovu muziku jer Tracy priča o nepravdi kroz koju prolaze crnci, ali opet nije ni toliko tužna da sediš. Sama srž albuma je storytelling i gitara, ali me podseća na neki country i southern akcenat što mi se ne dopada. Nisam sigurna kako ću da ocenim ovo.. ima neverovatan glas tho, ja bih volela da ga je drugačije koristila. Ali opet to su moje preference. It’s good for sleeping, nije nešto uzbudljiv. Poslušaću druge albume jer mi izgledaju svežije:)) Drago mi je što je sve što je osećala uspela da pretoči u muziku. Ali i to što je pretočila je nekako too simple i loše napisano. Bavi se ona revolucijom i događajima iz 70-ih, samo je napisano za žene od 40 godina, bez kreativnosti, simbolike i metafore

Safe from Harm is sooo good, the bass/electric guitar is super grungy and fun to listen to. Shara Nelson really killed with vocals. Next we have One love which was so hard to go through. I actually laughed when they started adding random sounds it was so bad, and Horace Andy sounded like he was whining constantly and fighting for his life. Overall beats are trippy and I like the experimental side of this album. First song was amazing, great start off. Be thankful for what you’ve got is groovy and enjoyable. I love how album differs and goes from reggae to hip-hop, groove and grunge, soulful music and r&b. Unfinished sympathy was a little bit boring, too repetitive, although piano and violin¿ were beautiful. I would say album is chaotic, lots of genres put together and this was something fresh, haven’t listened to anything like this. But will i be coming back to it? Not really. As much as it’s experimental with genres, every song has the same beat going on for 4-5min, same goes for lyrics. The only songs that were really standing out to me were Five man army, Safe from harm and Be thankful for what you’ve got. Buuut, I will go and listen to their albums:p

Phenomenal. I think I’m gonna love prog rock if it’s like this. Mellotron is sooo beautiful and I didn’t even know an instrument like this existed. Also drummer was seriously killing it, band was very disciplined. I love how it’s a mix of rock, classical music and jazz which are the most enjoyable genres for me. The only reasons why I would give this album 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the length…they made moonchild too long and it kind of loses its spark, and also my interest. The court of the crimson king was the perfect outro and I have never in my life heard a better intro than 21st century schizoid man. Guitar was so fun and this whole album is chaotic in the most fun way

beautiful, soul crushing, stunning voice.. Aretha Franklin really is the Queen of Soul What a genuinely lovely album, full of unbelievable vocals, guitar and bass..I waited for some good jazz/soul/blues and finally my wish came true:) I was not disappointed I have to say
