1001 Albums Summary

I think I'm a bigger fan of the slower tracks; it's really good but I feel as if I don't understand jazz very well. Would like this on vinyl to continue listening though. Pannonica is my jam.

Not my thing. Extended instrumental cuts. Some a little catchy but I seem to want a 2min pop cut instead of the 8min funk version.

Jump is very "of its time". Catchy but I wouldn't really want to listen to this again. Quintisenntial 80's for sure. Catchy as heck, guitar is incredible. Drop Dead Legs is very forgettable. Honestly the more I listen, the guitar is very good but the songs generally are a bit forgettable.

I don't think I've ever actually listened to Joy Division... Good Lord it's great. New Dawn Fades is incredible. Shadowplay iconic lyrics. Wilderness bass start is awesome too. It feels like it gets better as it goes somehow? This shit slaps.

It's real stripped and simple. Not sure it's my thing constantly but really good. Sort of a quiet catchiness. Suddenly Murder Mystery shows some of the strangeness that's possible here.

It's like... Catchy musak. Maybe because it feels very clean and well produced. Not my style, it's something I would sleep to, but very well made. Solid cover of Help. I don't know actually, the longer it goes the more it feels like quality background music that I could see owning on vinyl actually.

Not my thing. I do like some rap, but maybe more refined over the years. Felt too shock for shocks take for my taste
