My image of Coldplay was the song Yellow and the first song of this album (Politik) kinda destroyed that image. I don't know if I liked it better or not, but it was different. I think I'm just not the right audience for this band. This feels more like background music than music I actually want to listen to. Amsterdam was an excellent choice to end the album with. Not gonna lie, I haven't thought of R.E.M in more than a decade. I'm not even sure I've heard more than one song from them before today. Lyrics are interesting, not sure about the music itself. Orange Crush is my favorite so far. Idk what happened, but I guess I started getting this album right after Orange Crush, something just clicked. Might need to listen to it a second time. Not sure I like Untitled that much, but it's a good way to end the album so I appreciate it as that. Doing a second listen right away.
