1001 Albums Summary

Mamata was my least favorite so far. I liked light my fire. I didn’t finish it. I liked it though! I’d listen to it again!

First song slaps. I like the genre change halfway through. Cut my hair was my least favorite cause it was talk singy. Gave me cake vibes. 🤢 Woodstock had a sick guitar solo at the beginning. I like the “rap” in Deja vu. Our house was so cute. My favorite. Reminds me of one of my favorite Fun. songs: The Gambler. I wonder if it is a reference cause there’s a lyric that sounds very similar. 4+20 resonates with me. The beginning of country girl sounded like gambler singing with the piano chord thingy.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SONG. It’s so Severance-y. Like I swear this song played in an episode haha. The second song is good but wtf is that shitty video game punch sound effect 😂three is spooky and has kind of random loops and sound effects. Motorcycle / helicopter wings ah outro 😅 why is the final sound so short. I saw that the forest had tons of listens compared to the rest of the songs. I think it’s the epic of the album. But I thought it was meh. The last song was good. The title track.

DNF. I want to like Bowie so badly but I just can’t. I don’t get it. I just find it boring. I liked starman or whatever the famous one is. But I didn’t finish the album.

I liked it! The talking one was cool and reminded me of the Quincy Jones song off Dawn FM. I didn’t finish the album though. I didn’t have time.
