1001 Albums Summary

This was an amazing album to run to. So angry. Loved Bad Habit and Genicide. Also dude the Fallout sounding old school radio announcer! So fun. I enjoyed. Great rage album. Fun facts from Dixon: their singer has a phd and taught chemistry at ucla. Also Sal shares an air hanger with their plane. Who knew. Dix says more punk than pop punk. I agree

Ok, so this is my first real listen of any Bowie album. I've never been a big fan of Bowie's music (don't @ me). I feel like I don't typically fully get what he's going for, so maybe that's part of the issue. "Golden Years" is very catchy on first listen. Definitely stood out to me and I'm not surprised to find out it's the first single from the album. "TVC15" is fun. Nothing like a song about a TV eating your girlfriend. After the album ended after "Wild is the Wind", I was shook. What a short album. And 7 min of it went to "Station to Station" Apparently this album was a fun cocaine-fueled transition album. But again - I don't know Bowie well enough to understand his before period to the next experimental period. Definitely got catchier on additional listens. Slick. I liked Stay too. Some dancing involved

Enjoyed parts of this album! Where do the children play? Was probably my favorite. Lots of skippable songs for me in the middle

Ok I didn’t spend the most time on this album, I won’t lie. And I didn’t mind the songs that I heard. Most of the songs don’t sound much like an 80’s album to me, sounds a little more modern. I didn’t hate it! I enjoyed listening to it.. I just probably won’t be listening to it again
