John MartynFroggy voiced, similar to Joe Cocker Jazz synth pop. Echoing guitar reminiscent of Eddie Hazel. I can see how some of the sounds and techniques could influence music yet to be created.

As classic as it comes. You can feel how this sound is so different and heavy relative to everything else in this timeframe.
This is a great album. You can tell the time and effort into getting the sound out. Album is super busy, yet balanced and the sonic sound of the album likely sounds amazing with a high end sound system. Definitely want to listen on a high end system.
More country western twang than I remember. You can definitely see the Grateful Dead Live sound on this album and the mellow vibe is really nice. Definitely magic in a bottle for some of the best sounds of the era. Birds and Mamas and Papas influence. Some Crosby Stills. After reading about the album I was spot on with the Grateful Dead Live references. Jerry Garcia personally played on a handful of tracks. Very cool.
It's good, the sound and composition is large and energetic. Writing is very folk inspired and Americana. I'm not entirely drawn to it, but I "get it".
The album is good, but not my style of sound. You can hear influences from scuffle, new wave and lots of good good British sound. The Neo classic style is rather boring to me. Album is balanced and I cant say it's not good.
A Classic among Classics! This album has so many great songs that define a time. Gimme Shelter is sounds very full and loud and I love the guitar progression around the 2:20 mark. So good. And You Cant Always Get What You Want is a composition masterpiece. The weight of this album is impressive.
Some nice tight pop sound that you could expect with access to Michael Jackson and his sound. It definitely hits a sound of a decade.
Raw. There are a lot of good thoughts and sounds in the music and it's rather eclectic. I can see how there are lots of influencial sounds for other bands to be inspired by. I am a fan of the "5-4=Unity" track. It has a fun jazzy vibe that just keeps progressing and the Piano is refreshing.
Iconic! Took the honkey tonk twang and modernized it with well produced tracks. This is golden country at it's best!
Great album! Always one of my dad's favorites as well. The sound is great, there are highs and lows that transition rather nicely. The style is one of a kind and shows that Hard Rock can be super versitile.
I was thouroughly impressed by this album. I had never heard of this group, but there were some solid sounds and concepts that made this an enjoyable listen. Vocals like Joni Mitchell and steel guitar vibes like Neil Young and Grateful Dead. Some deep sound and mixing made this an album you can put on and just enjoy.
