Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jul 26 2025

Classic jazz album. Already very familiar with this one and perfect for pretty much any situation.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jul 27 2025

Honestly not massively inspired by this. It's fine but not particularly engaging. Perhaps it was the time I listened to this but there are better Radiohead albums out there for me

Illmatic by Nas
Jul 28 2025

Did not listen to all of this but what I did was great 4/5 stars. Hadn't listened to this before

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 29 2025

Couldn't get into this one and found it uninspiring musically. Never understood the hype to be honest and still feel the same. Maybe you understand it more if you are American or something?

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Jul 30 2025

This was pretty great. Knew fools gold already from tony hawks and can see why lots of people like them. In-between a 4/5 for me. Maybe a 4? Listening to this while working and would do that again as it fits well in that context.

High Violet by The National
Jul 31 2025

On the whole found this one fairly bland but with the odd stand out track. Didn't make much of an impression to be honest.

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Aug 01 2025

Mixed album here, some great tracks e.g. lovefool but possibly the worst cover of iron man I have heard and lots of stuff that just blended in. 2 or a 3 I was thinking and have gone for 2

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Aug 04 2025

Singles are great but felt this could have been trimmed down considerably. Quite long and similar songs.

Synchronicity by The Police
Aug 05 2025

Not sure what I thought on this one honestly. Mixed I guess and were trying things out, not all of them came off.

Aug 06 2025

Honestly didn't really grab me this one. 1/2 stars.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Aug 07 2025

This sounded good but kinda seemed like it was written with adverts in mind at the same time - 3 stars maybe?

Aug 08 2025

Literally one of my favourite albums. Happy to listen to it again and it's still fantastic

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Aug 10 2025

First I had heard of Elliott smith or any of the music. It was ok! Went for a vibe and achieved it.

Aug 11 2025

Some great tracks on here (freak on a leash, got the life) but also some truly awful ones ( all in the family ). There are better Korn albums and honestly surprised they didn't go with the self titled debut with it being the 'first nu metal' album in effect. Very mixed album.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Aug 12 2025

Pretty nice, played some of these (Desfinado and one note samba) but not so familiar with others. Fun album, does not overstay it's welcome. Only downside was not the best solo on track 1 in the guitar, felt there was a better solo there. Would play again. Feeling 4/5?

Real Life by Magazine
Aug 13 2025

Not sure I have really heard any of this bands stuff. Good album, liked it!

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Aug 15 2025

This was alright, didn't listen to the whole thing but what I heard was good on the whole

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Aug 16 2025

Heard this before and it's a good album

Live At The Star Club, Hamburg by Jerry Lee Lewis
Aug 18 2025

22 mins is not an album. If you like 12 bar blues and rock and roll this will be enjoyable but all the tracks are very similar. Some well-known songs in there

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Aug 19 2025

Was expecting a bit more from this honestly. Single is great but the rest tended to just blend in to one a bit.

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Sep 15 2025

Pretty much if you said what did the 80s sound like I would imagine this haha. It was fine, had some good vibes and songs within it but a bit overblown and each song could have been shorter.
