Daydream Nation
Sonic YouthNot particularly my kind of genre. The long jams in certain songs have been hit or miss for me. I don't know, I think it's one of those albums I should revisit later on. Very interesting and yet very sporadic.

Fantastic album! Made in 2001, but sounds so fresh. Love the hip hop, alt/indie rock and electronic combination. My first full album experience of the Gorillaz and I am in love! Will be listening to it a lot more throughout this year.
Jeepers! This one is really good. You're telling me this was made in 1972!? It sounds like a 80s metal record, only thing that gives it away is probably the organ being used instead of 80s synth. Really enjoyed re listening to this one. The musicianship is other worldly, especially the guitar and organ solos. My favorite song is Pictures Of Home. Insane!
Classic album and very influential
Yeah no, this isn't for me I think. I believe this is quite a boring album honestly. Not bad, but forgettable and meh. Absolutely nothing stands out to me in this album. Songwriting is good I guess, but not enough to be invested in these stories. Production is alright you know, acoustic campfire B sides vibes.
RnB/Soul is probably my favorite genre (either that or Jazz), but I surprisingly am not that much of a fan of The Temptations. I mean they make really solid bodies of work, but I just haven't really been crazy about their sound. Just sounds like ABCs of early 70s Funk/Soul. Good music, but not amazing. Definitely not remarkable in the sense that there's better Funk (P-Funk, Sly Stone) and Soul (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye) that was made at that time, but some rememberable moments here and there.
Cool album, I just think I need to familiarize myself with 2010s indie sounds. But this is quite a sonically pleasing body of work, but definitely not what I am particularly use to. There's a lot of "moments" but just not enough to fully bring me in. Not a bad album, it's just a cool album. Maybe I may need a few more listens to get into it.
Album with honestly a ton of packed potential. I really enjoyed this one, but not necessarily on a 5/5 level of enjoyment. Some really good ideas, that if they were initiated correctly could've made for an awesome listening experience. But it's a pretty album for sure, love the soundscapes here. Very rich sonically speaking.
