1001 Albums Summary

I really loved this. I wasn’t that familiar with The Byrds but loved this early country rock flair.

Classic album. One of Pink Floyd’s best.

No denying Jimi is one of the all time greats on the guitar but I’m more drawn to great melodies and lyrics than instrumental so this isn’t one I return to often.

I'm not usually a fan of psychedelic rock but this album had a bit of a New Orleans vibe. I guess it was the horn section but I got really into it.

One of the greatest albums of all time. Every single song is a classic.

A really terrific light jazz album. Definitely enjoyed it even if it's not my favorite genre.

Really enjoyed this one. Of course "Time of the Season" is a pure classic.

Not my cup of tea at all. Just seemed like noise.

It was alright. Not painful on the ears but I'm definitely not a fan of mumblecore. Could hardly understand a single lyric.

I suppose this is a pioneering album in a genre I don't like. It's fine for a club but does nothing when you just listen to it.

Cohen is truly one of the greatest songwriters to ever life. Every song is a story. A masterclass.

While not my favorite Beatles album it is undoubtedly a masterpiece.

Probably the best of the "early" Beatles albums and definitely has a couple of classics on it but, overall, I don't love it as much as the later stuff.

A bit too experimental for my taste but classic nonetheless.
