BeckThe walkie-talkie style of sound really put me off. I struggled with even finding the tune within most of the messy songs. The lyrics are very repetitive as well. And don’t even get me started on that last “song”.

I was lowkey chillin with all the songs UNTIL i got to “The Sky is Broken”. What a freaky ass song. I don’t need a guy whispering in my ear while I drive! But the lyrics are a bit repetitive, however the beats make up for it. I do like this album. Okay as I have continued, it’s only gone downhill. It’s just too boring lowkey. Not enough variation in the beats. Only 4/4, most songs are around 120ish bpm with some exceptions. But I guess that’s what you get with electronica music?
I am pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed this album, considering I don’t like rap. I do NOT wanna go to the doctor’s office though.
Very chill and gives me a vibe as if i’m in the car with the huzz driving during the sunset. Pretty slay
I thought I rated this already. Anyway, this album is great in my opinion. Catchy, and has some great jazzy moments. Jacob you’re a bum for not liking it
I mean. Come on. Goated!
I think this is a really really great road trip album that totally deserves its spot in the top 1001 albums. Certainly near the top of my list. I don’t think this is a controversial opinion
The singing is a little annoying. Kinda sounds like if a donkey could sing with the intonation. The songs are repetitive and lowkey hard to tell the difference between sometimes. Had to ask myself if I had just listened to the song that played after. All that being said, the songs themselves are pretty good.
Really good. Extremely solid and fun to listen to. I think it totally deserves a 5
It was really great. Unfortunately, it’s Big Stars’ only good album! But super great roadtrip energy. Loved listening.
Lowkey mid. As a beach boys fan, idk how I haven’t heard this album. Only like 2 decent songs. The 70s were a time I suppose
I think everyone knows why I think this slaps. Absolute banger. Only issue is I wish the orchestral parts were more interesting during the non-instrumental parts. Horns are the best instrument ever change my mind. Metallica also is a super great band. I don’t think that’s a hot take. This is my favorite album yet. Not much can top it.
