Classic album now. Couldn't believe at the time that this album was an attempt to save and archive a musical style which was dying out. Enjoyable jazz with latin flavours.

Seems very dated now. Apart from My Generation, seems very generic early 60s blues pop oriented. I preferred their later albums once they had found their sound.

Magical album when I first heard it come out, masterpiece. If you listen to one Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album - listen to this.
